2. Road Maintenance Priority Matrix
The Board-adopted Road Maintenance Priority Matrix continues to be the primary tool for guiding the
selection process for road maintenance activities. The matrix is intended to maximize cost-benefit by
allocating maintenance resources to those corridors that serve the most users, respond to emergencies,
and comply with mandated obligations.
